Cardno International Development launches Knowledge Management Unit

Cardno International Development is pleased to announce the appointment of Rama Razy, Knowledge Lead and Brian Kraft, Senior Consultant, to its newly established Knowledge Management Unit based out of Melbourne.

The aim of the unit is to leverage Cardno’s extensive and deep global development expertise to generate knowledge and insights of value to our clients, partners and stakeholders.

Rama Razy has extensive experience in strategic communications, capacity building, media, and public engagement across a wide range of sectors including governance, elections, policing, food security, agriculture, community development, health, and fiscal reform.   

Rama started her career in development as an Australian volunteer in Cambodia and Timor-Leste, after which she joined the United Nations (peacekeeping and agencies) in various roles over the next 10 years. During this time, she also acted as deputy spokesperson for the UN peacekeeping mission in Cyprus. She has a Masters degree in Journalism from University of Technology Sydney.  


Brian Kraft brings a wealth of in-country knowledge and management consulting expertise. He specialises in strategy development, government relations, and communications, and has extensive experience in environmental sustainability, public policy, and regulatory change.  

A two-time recipient of the US Fulbright Scholarship to Indonesia, Brian has a Masters degree in Asian Studies from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
