Current investment in Australia’s infrastructure is unprecedented, making it more critical than ever that major projects are set-up to succeed and support the growth and diversification of our economy.

WSP and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) have undertaken a new, major research project – Setting Up Infrastructure Projects for Success – which uncovers factors underpinning successful project planning and delivery.

The survey harnesses the experience of 180 professionals with deep experience working for government delivery agencies, construction firms and engineering consultancies.

Guy Templeton, WSP President and CEO, said, “The experienced respondents are clear in their united call for us to learn the lessons of the past. Avoiding failed infrastructure projects requires determined, sustained and clear focus on early engagement, collaboration and the right mix of skills and expertise in every team.”
